Congressman Jesús 'Chuy' Garcia (IL-04) announced that he secured $27 million for 15 community projects for Illinois' 4th Congressional District as part of the year-end government spending package. This sum represents a record amount of community project funding for the district. Congressman García delivered funding for 15 projects that will directly benefit residents in the 4th Congressional District of Illinois, investing in infrastructure, healthcare and economic development. A few of the projects include: $5,000,000 for the Berwyn 34th Street Modernization and Stormwater Management Improvements Project to continue rehabilitating the roadway, sidewalks, and curb/gutter.
