Cook County Board of Review Chairman George Cardenas gaveled in the Board's 2023 tax session opening Group 1 two months and 10 days earlier than the Board opened the 2022 tax session (November 21st) and three months before 2021's opening (December 6th). An earlier opening to the tax session is one of several initiatives the Board is taking to get bills out on time next year, in addition to implementation of the Tyler IASWorld Bridge and rearrangement of the Township appeal schedule in conjunction with CCAO.
